Refund & Cancellation Policy

Need A Man & Van aims to provide a fair and transparent cancellation and refund policy.
Customer Cancellations

More than 24 hours' notice before the scheduled booking: No cancellation charge.

Less than 24 hours' notice: We reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the agreed booking price.

Cancellation after our vehicle has been dispatched or upon arrival at the collection address may result in up to 100% of the booking charge.
Changes to Bookings
We will do our best to accommodate changes to booking dates or times, subject to vehicle availability.
Additional charges may apply where changes increase the duration, mileage or labour required.
Deposits
Where a booking deposit has been paid:

Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the booking.

Deposits may be retained for cancellations made within 24 hours.
Refunds
Refunds will only be issued where:

We cancel your booking and cannot offer an alternative.

Payment has been taken in error.

We agree that a refund is appropriate following investigation of a complaint.
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 5–10 working days using the original payment method.
Delays Beyond Our Control
Traffic delays, adverse weather, vehicle breakdowns, road closures and other events outside our reasonable control do not automatically entitle customers to a refund.
Service Complaints
If you believe the service was not provided to a satisfactory standard, please contact us within 7 days of the booking with full details.
We will investigate promptly and, where appropriate, offer a suitable resolution.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
